Please note the following updates to the CD
distributionon:
For users of the
Acu-Rite digital readout the settings in
Section 4.2.2 of the installation guide
have been updated so please be sure to
use the updated version of the
installation guide from the web site
available here.
Please note: this does not apply
to those using the Acu-Rite linear
encoders which is nearly everyone, this
just applies to the digital readout
portion of the system - newer systems use
the Metronics QC digital readout.
The updated
installation guide also contains minor
changes for clarity so the updated
installation guide is recommended for
everyone.
For
Mac users, we recommend you use the
latest MRJ release available from Apple
Computer, Inc. via download at their web site. Due to the many
releases of MRJ over the last 2 years,
there may be a discrepancy in the version
of the MRJ software you have and that
described in documentation in section
3.3.2. Part I. Please use your version in
place of that described in the
documentation. For example if you have
MRJ V2.2.1 and the documentation refers
to MRJ_2_1_smi.bin, you may have a file
called MRJ_2_2.smi.bin. Please contact us if you have any
questions about which release of MRJ to
use.
